French in Toronto, what it adds for you
The federal bonus, extra Ontario points for two languages, and a GTA that runs public services in French.
Express Entry
The federal bonus still counts
With NCLC 7 in all four French skills you get 50 extra Express Entry points if your English is CLB 5 or higher, or 25 if it is lower. IRCC also runs invitation rounds only for French speakers.
Ontario
Two languages score higher
Ontario's Workforce Priority stream gives 10 points when you have CLB 6 or higher in both English and French, against 5 for one language. It needs a job offer.
French services
The GTA works in French too
Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton and Markham are French-language service areas under Ontario law, and the Centre francophone du Grand Toronto helps French-speaking newcomers settle.

The TTC, the 401 and the GO train all stay out of it. Two evenings a week you open Zoom and your class is there.

The times in the plans are shown on Toronto's clock. Groups are small, so you speak a lot and get corrected every class.
The same teachers across Canada
Our 26 native teachers from France and Québec teach every group, so a Toronto student gets the same program as a Calgary or Vancouver student.
When the day runs late
Live classes are not recorded. Your online course has recorded lessons on the same topics, so a late meeting does not cost you the week.
The TEF or TCF in the GTA, when you are ready
You book the exam near the end of your program, when your teacher says you are ready. These are the official centres in the GTA:

Mississauga, Brampton and Markham
The same online classes, the same evenings. What changes from city to city is how far you travel on exam day.
Mississauga
Classes from home. For the exam, the Alliance Française centre is beside Square One.
The Alliance Française de Toronto runs TEF and TCF exams at its Mississauga centre, 4261 Sherwoodtowne Blvd, beside Square One. Collège Canada on Derry Road East is also an official TEF centre.

Brampton
Brampton has its own TEF centre. For the TCF, the nearest Alliance Française centre is in Mississauga.
Brampton has an official TEF Canada centre downtown at 60 Queen Street East, Suite 206, with weekend sessions.

Markham
Classes from home. The nearest exam centre is the Alliance Française in North York.
Markham has no TEF or TCF exam centre. The closest is the Alliance Française de Toronto in North York, steps from Sheppard-Yonge station.

Downtown to Durham, one evening class
Students join from every part of the GTA. Online, the distance makes no difference.
